The first attempt to combine an automobile and an airplane was made in early XX century. Giant aeroplane wings were mounted on the roof of a vehicle that actually managed to hop from the ground. Even though it was a total fiasco in the eyes of society, for spirited minds it was just the begining.

Except for the idea of a roadable aircraft and various copters scientists have started to develop a concept of a flying saucer that was influenced by popular than cult of UFO, and army was one of the first organizations to start real world researches.

Paul Moller is one of the most famous flying car enthusiast and dreamers. Being a successful aircraft engineer, he decided to invent his own vertical take-off and landing vehicle. He began the work on his project back in 1974 and made few very serious inventions, and astonished the whole word with his radical machines.
